Zero Negative Balance

Zero Negative Balance Utility allows the user to zero out all students’ balances at once when closing the school year.

  • Student(s) must have a negative balance to utilize this utility.

  • Check the boxes of the Meal Statuses whose balances you want to zero out.

  • Click the button.
  • A warning message will appear notifying the user the number of accounts found and asking the user to verify the transaction. Click Yes.

  • The user will be notified once the utility is complete.
  • Create the Reports: Serving: Transaction History: By Date report using the Adjustments option (from the Transaction Type dropdown) to view what was zeroed out. The report can also be run on Archived data.

    • Adjustments made from here will display as: BALANCE ADJ FROM ZERO-BAL UTIL.
